1. The party shall be exactly as stated on the application form.
2. The cottage shall be used only by the persons listed on the
Application form. Bookings will not normally be accepted from groups
of single persons under the age of 30 years, or from all male or all
female parties consisting of three or more persons.
The owners reserve the right to accept/refuse bookings at their discretion.
3. In the event of cancellation no refund of deposit can be considered
for any reason whatsoever, and refund of any balance can only be
made if notice is given not less than two weeks prior to the
commencement of the letting and the property can be re-let in that
period. We respectfully suggest that hirers take out their own
insurance against this contingency. The owners will, without
prejudice, use their best endeavours to effect a re-letting.
4. A deposit of 25% of the full charge is required on booking. The
balance must be paid, without reminder, at least 21 days before the
booking commences. No confirmation of booking can be given until
full payment has been made. Where a booking is being made within 6
weeks of your arrival date, the full amount of the hire charge, plus
damage deposit, is due on booking.
5. Hirers of may take possession from 1500 hours
(3.00 p.m.) on the day of commencement, and must vacate by
1000 hours(10.00 a.m.) on the final day.
6. All accommodation must be kept and left in a tidy state, and all
furniture returned to the place it was found on entry. All hirers
are required to pay a damage deposit of £100 at least 21 days
before the date of arrival. The deposit will be returned, less
any deductions within 14 days of departure.
7. Hirers are responsible for any breakages and damage.
8. Hirers of the cottage must do nothing to make void or voidable
any policy of insurance, must not cause nuisance to neighbours,
and must allow the owner, his servants or agents, reasonable
access.
9. The law applicable to this agreement is that of England under which
any dispute or claim arising out of the hire of the cottage must be
brought.
10. Should the hirer fail to give up possession at the end of the holiday
or leave the accommodation in such a state and condition that it is
not suitable for occupation for another hirer, he/she will be liable
for the hire charges as shown for the accommodation for the period
until it is so available and for any loss or damage which shall be
occasioned thereby.
11. Pets, unfortunately, are not permitted.
12. Towels may be hired at additional cost and must be ordered no later
than one month before arrival, and fully paid for no later than 21
days before arrival. Full details are on the price list.
13. All hirers, visitors and guests are responsible for their personal
property. The owners accept no liability or responsibility for any
injury sustained, loss or damage, howsoever caused, to any persons
or property brought on to the premises.
14. Please note that whilst every care is taken to ensure that the
description of the house and it's contents and equipment is correct
and up to date, it cannot be guaranteed that all equipment will be
available for use in the event of an item requiring repair or
attention which cannot be obtained immediately.
15. Should there be any occurrence beyond the control of the owner and his
agent as a result of which the accommodation is not available, all
monies paid will be refunded in full to the hirer but neither will
there be any further liability towards the hirer.
16. Visitors should make every effort to comply with refuse collection
and recycling arrangements. Any additional costs incurred as a
result of failure to do so will be chargeable.
